Philly Reads Philly: Ravishing

Philly Reads Philly: Ravishing

Join us for an evening with Philadelphia-based author Eshani Surya, celebrating her debut novel Ravishing — a story that moves through desire, identity, and the complicated ways we're seen by others and ourselves. As part of our Philly Reads Philly series, this event features a debut local author in conversation around her new novel — an intimate, focused discussion of the work itself. Come listen, ask questions, and stay awhile.

Story Salon: Under Her Roof, Stories About Mothers

Story Salon is our live storytelling series at At My House—each night built around a single theme, told through personal stories. Our second show, Under Her Roof: Stories About Mothers, brings together stories about mothers and motherhood—the ones who raised us, the ones who didn't, the ones we found, the ones we became. Featuring: Ryder Griffith, Maeve Hennessey, Dee Okai, Tsehaitu Abye, Hannah Davenport, Chuck Black, Brianna Benozich, Corinne Williams, and Rachel Andie. And hosted by the ineffable Kassie Caines.
